In order to implement the key special management tasks of the national key R&D plan, give full play to the role of experts in project process management, and ensure the smooth implementation of the special tasks and the realization of the task goals. Recently, the key special expert group on "Biomedical Materials R&D and Replacement of Tissues and Organs" The first working meeting of the expert group was established at the China Biotechnology Development Center. Dong Zhifeng, a deputy bureau-level investigator of the Biological Center, a member of the expert group, and personnel from relevant departments of the Biological Center participated in the meeting.

A total of 10 members of the key special expert group on "R&D of biomedical materials and replacement of tissues and organs" were appointed by the Biological Center for a five-year term. Professor Xi Tingfei, the Peking University Institute of Frontier Interdisciplinary Research, served as the team leader, Professor Gu Ning of Southeast University, Zhejiang University Professor Ouyang Hongwei from the Basic Medical College served as the deputy team leader. At the meeting, the leaders of the Biological Center issued letters of appointment and spoke to the experts. It is hoped that the expert group will actively participate in project management from a professional perspective during the implementation of the special project, closely follow up on the implementation of the project, provide comments and suggestions on the relevant tasks such as project content, technical indicators and funding arrangements, and manage the special project together with the biological center. Through scientific, standardized, fair, and efficient professional management, we ensure the realization of the overall objectives of the key special items of "R&D of biomedical materials and replacement of tissues and organs" and the implementation of various tasks.
